Routt County Project WET Educator Workshop 2023
Have fun with fellow educators and get trained on the Project WET curriculum!
Join us on June 28 at 9:00 am at Stagecoach State Park – Arrowhead Group Picnic Area for a Project WET (Water Education Today) Educator Workshop! During the workshop, participants will be introduced to numerous water-related activities applicable to kids of all ages. Designed to challenge students and introduce new science, social studies, English, and math concepts, Project WET is the perfect curriculum and activity guide for any educator. The perfect curriculum for K-12 teachers, non-formal educators, church leaders, and anyone who works with kids!
Leave able to implement a collection of hands-on, engaging and interdisciplinary K-12 lessons and water-related activities in your own learning environment. Participants will have a chance to practice teaching water-related activities through activity demonstrations and peer learning with fellow educators. Upon completing this workshop, you will be certified as a Project WET Educator, equipped to use the Project WET Activity Guide 2.0 to teach young water stewards about critical water concepts.
