Briefly: Colorado says no to loosening industrial water pollution rules

According to CBS4, the Colorado Water Quality Control Commission voted against a proposed measure that would have allowed industries to release more pollution into Colorado’s rivers and streams. However, some municipal leaders and conservationists are concerned that the current decision can be revisited in 10 years. The 10-year clause could make it more difficult for non-profits and private citizens to be part of future conversations.
