Briefly: Neguse bill to extend endangered fish programs

According to The Daily Sentinel, U.S. Rep. Joe Neguse, D-Lafayette, recently introduced a bill that aims to extend the life of programs protecting endangered fish in the Upper Colorado and San Juan River basins. The Upper Colorado River Endangered Fish Recovery Program is currently authorized through 2023. However, reauthorization through 2024 has been requested as a result of delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
