Vail Daily reports that The Water Cycle, a team of women passionate about the Colorado River, have embarked on a 2,000-mile cycling journey along the Colorado River. The group intends to speak with residents along the way, engaging them in science education programs and collecting stories. The Water Cycle was established by Kate Trudeau while she was completing her master’s degree through Walking Mountains Science Center. Kate decided that the narrative around the Colorado River should be one based on collaboration and connection, rather than conflict.
