John Carpenter Bio

John Carpenter is the Operations Manager at Water Education Colorado where he manages the finance, accounting and administration components of the organization. John specializes in working for non-profits and has previously worked for Omni Institute, Alliance for Sustainable Colorado and Rebuilding Together Metro Denver in the metro Denver area. John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado with a concentration in finance and accounting.

John has a passion for sustainability and considers working at Water Education Colorado the pinnacle of his career ensuring Coloradans understand the value of water.

When not making spreadsheets sing, dollars dance, reports rock and people roll he finds joy in perfecting process and procedure, managing mission with margin, caring for customers, and painting grand operational landscapes. John enjoys travel, landscape design, and creating in his home workshop.
