Sami Miller Bio
Sami Miller works in membership and engagement for WEco through coordinating outreach efforts, connecting with members, expanding participation and financial support for programs, and working closely with sponsors. Most of Sami’s earliest memories include spending time in the natural world, taking walks with her granddad and floating the rural rivers of Missouri with her family, all of which cultivated her passion for working to educate others in conserving our natural resources. Sami further developed her interest in water resources during her time with Denver Botanic Gardens, where she coordinated education programs for adults focused on water and agriculture. Her diverse background in nonprofit education, agriculture, and water engineering proposal management supports her work in deepening WEco’s connection to our community through memberships, sponsorships, and facilitating outreach events. Sami earned a Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies and French from Drury University as well as a Master’s in Geography and a Graduate Certificate of GIS from the University of Denver. She enjoys adventures with her husband and two dogs, spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, reading, and her morning coffee!
