According to Water Technology, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recently announced a $1.9M Clean Water Act settlement with Fleur de Lis Energy and Fleur de Lis Operating associated with their oil and gas operations in Wyoming. The EPA settlement involves discharges of crude oil and produced water from Fleur de Lis operations. The EPA also alleged that the companies failed to install proper spill prevention measures and did not have adequate response plans in place at various facilities.
