Briefly: Fed infrastructure bill to deliver $2.5B for tribal water settlements

According to the AP News, the federal infrastructure bill signed last month includes $2.5 billion for Native American water rights settlements. The federal government has not specified how money will be divided. However, many tribes in the western United States are eligible. The Navajo Nation expects to receive funding from the infrastructure law for a 2020 settlement reached with Utah.
