Briefly: Feds suggest Colorado River cuts be shared between Arizona, California and Nevada

The New York Times reports that the federal government is considering setting aside the prior appropriation system as it asks for 2 million acre-feet of water use reductions in the Colorado River’s Lower Basin, which covers Arizona, California and Nevada.
