Briefly: Feds to pay Arizona water users $63.4M to leave more water in Lake Mead

8News in Las Vegas reports that Arizona water interests, including tribes, water districts, and irrigators, will receive $63.4 million to cut water use and keep the unused water in Lake Mead. Over a three-year period the extra water, more than 162,000 acre-feet, will raise the giant reservoir more than 2 feet.
