Briefly: Judge rejects Thornton pipeline appeal

The Denver Post reports that an appeals court judge has rejected an appeal from the City of Thornton that, if successful, would have given Thornton the right to build a water pipeline across Larimer County, delivering water that it already owns in the headwaters of the Colorado River in Rocky Mountain National Park to its residents.
