Briefly: California Bay Area eyes raising dam to create major new water storage project

The Bay Area News Group reports that San Francisco and surrounding communities that are facing ongoing drought and water shortages may move to use a dam stabilization project to increase storage by 130,000 acre-feet, enough to support several hundred thousand new residents.
