According to The Colorado Sun, the Colorado River Basin Drought Contingency Plan is just one of the water projects that could see funding from Congress’ infrastructure bill that includes $8.3 billion for Western water. Colorado water officials from various utilities and conservation districts submitted a letter to Senator John Hickenlooper and Senator Michael Bennet requesting a plan for investment in Western water infrastructure and ecosystem resilience.
