The Associated Press reports that Camille Touton, a Nevada native, has been nominated by President Joe Biden to lead the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. If confirmed, Touton will lead critical multi-state negotiations over how best to operate the Colorado River as its flows continue to decline at alarming rates. She would also be the first Filipino American to lead the agency.
