Briefly: Proposed legislation could enable more at-home water recycling

CPR News reports that proposed legislation could make it easier for new homes in Colorado to adopt graywater water-recycling systems. If approved, the legislation would create an opt-out system of graywater reuse rules for cities and counties, rather than the current opt-in system, leading to more widespread recycling of water that’s been lightly used for showers, baths, laundry and bathroom sinks, known as graywater.
