Briefly: Six Colorado River states offer ideas, but California offers its own take

CNN reports that in response to a call from the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation for the seven Colorado River Basin states to figure out how to cut 2 to 4 million acre-feet of water usage, six Colorado River states have agreed to a plan to reduce water use, but California has opted to offer its own plan. This raises the likelihood that the U.S. Supreme Court may have to resolve the dispute.
