Briefly: Tribal homes 19x more likely to lack running water

According to Arizona Public Media, a report published out of the independent Water & Tribes Initiative examined why Indigenous communities within the Colorado River Basin are struggling to get reliable running water. According to the report, a lack of water infrastructure, contaminated water, and a lack of training and funding for operation of water systems all contribute to water insecurity and public health issues.
