Briefly: UNM wins $3.7M in EPA drinking, wastewater grants

The University of New Mexico will receive $3.7 million in grant funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The funds are being provided to help establish drinking and wastewater systems. Of this, $2.7 million will be used for training, technical assistance, and the maintenance of small public water systems. The remaining $1 million is to be used to work with small wastewater operators to improve water quality.
