Briefly: Late May snow gives Eastern Plains major drought relief

9News reports that the late spring storm that dropped a foot of snow in some areas and delivered rain in others was a boost to the Eastern Plains and the foothills, but not other regions. In an interview, Assistant State Climatologist Becky Bolinger said communities farther West saw some relief but not nearly enough to change their drought status.
