Briefly: Phoenix eyes treating wastewater to drink, raising dam to solve water woes

The Cronkite News Service reports that the City of Phoenix and nearby communities in Arizona are examining new methods for ensuring water supplies will be adequate. Among the options being considered are treating wastewater so it can be converted to drinking water, and raising a dam on the Verde River.
